Tamil Women Rising is a volunteer-run non-profit organization based in Toronto, Canada that supports the professional growth and leadership of Tamil women and their allies. The organization’s core mission is to empower Tamil women and their allies to seek success and advance in their careers , helping build confidence, connections, and opportunities in the workplace and beyond. Mission & Community Tamil Women Rising creates spaces where ambition meets community. It offers professional networking, learning, and celebration opportunities that help Tamil women connect with peers, share experiences, and grow together. Through its programs, the group fosters a supportive environment for career development, mentorship, and visibility of women’s achievements.
