Sri Lankan Accountants Association of Canada (SAAC) The Sri Lankan Accountants Association of Canada (SAAC) is a professional association for accountants of Sri Lankan origin or descent who live and work in Canada. It brings together professionals from diverse accounting backgrounds—including Chartered Accountants (CA), Certified General Accountants (CGA), Certified Management Accountants (CMA), and students working toward their accounting designations—to support their careers and community engagement. Mission & Purpose SAAC’s mission is centered around professional development, knowledge sharing, networking, and community support: Knowledge sharing: Offering forums for discussions and idea exchange on topics such as taxation, auditing, corporate finance, and capital markets. Professional development: Organizing seminars, workshops, and learning events to help members stay informed about industry trends and professional standards. Career support: Connecting members with job opportunities and resources useful for career growth. Mentorship: Helping new arrivals and students by offering guidance through professional accreditation processes in Canada.
