A little about us

Nova Immigration Solutions Inc is a licensed immigration consultancy founded by Shani Hanwella, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and a former Immigration Officer of the Government of Canada. Shani spent 12 years with the Canadian High Commission in Colombo, Sri Lanka, followed by 12 years with a full-service immigration law firm in Toronto. The firm advises on Express Entry, spousal and parental sponsorships, study and work permits, visitor and super visas, sponsorship appeals, refugee matters, detention reviews and citizenship applications, and represents clients before all three divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. The business is listed in the Vanakkam Canada Tamil Business Directory, reflecting its Sri Lankan Tamil-community ties; Shani writes an immigration column for a Sinhala monthly in Toronto.
